Joanne Reed

Joanne qualified at Sheffield in 1997 where she received a prize for excellence in restorative dentistry.  She worked in Bakewell for 7 years, then Ashbourne and Belper before returning to Diamond Court in 2008.

Shortly after qualifying, Joanne completed the “straight-forward straight-wire” course in orthodontics.  She has also worked part-time in a hospital dental department.  She regularly attends dental courses and has an interest in minimally invasive techniques and prevention of tooth decay and gum disease.

Joanne is married to a dentist and has 3 daughters.  She has a dog, several cats and a horse which keep her busy!  Her hobbies include painting, cooking, walking and she recently completed a leadership in running fitness qualification.
