Heather Mills

Heather first joined the practice in 2001, where she qualified as a dental nurse. In 2023 Heather returned to Diamond Court as an experienced Hygiene Therapist.

Heather studied combined Dental Therapy and Hygiene at the University of Sheffield, graduating in 2006. Since then she has worked in dental practices in Derby, Sheffield and Ashbourne, where she has been for 20 years.

Heather performs hygiene therapy and instruction, fillings and extractions with a prescription. She is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health through gentle, thorough personal care.

Heather feels rewarded supporting nervous patients through their treatment, enabling them to build trust and a genuine rapport. When treating children Heather ensures their experience is engaging but reinforces the importance of good hygiene and a healthy diet from a young age.

In her spare time Heather enjoys watching her son and husband play rugby, walking the family dogs and baking.
