Your new-patient consultation

A proper, unhurried assessment: teeth, gums, jaw joints, soft tissues, oral cancer screen, and the X-rays needed to see what's happening beneath the surface. Most importantly: we listen. What do you want from your mouth and smile? Current fees are in our price list.

For nervous patients

Dental anxiety is common — and we can help

Dental anxiety is one of the most common fears in Britain, and our team treats it as a clinical fact to work with, not a quirk to push past.

  • Tell us when you book — we'll allow extra time
  • A stop signal agreed up front that puts you in control
  • Everything explained before it happens, never during
  • We go at your pace — even if the first visit is just a look and a chat

Patients often describe the team as friendly, welcoming and quick to help when they need support — from routine appointments to urgent dental concerns.

  • Thank you for being so good with our family yesterday and explaining everything — especially with our young son who had his first filling. It certainly hasn’t put him off coming — he is already looking forward to our next visit!

Common questions

We’re not taking on new NHS patients at the moment — Diamond Court is largely a private practice, and many of our patients spread the cost of routine care with a Denplan plan. We do still provide NHS treatment for some existing patients; reception can tell you more.

Yes — Denplan plans cover routine care for a monthly amount, and Denplan Essentials members get 10% off treatment.

Reception will offer the earliest suitable slot; genuine emergencies are prioritised the same day wherever possible.

Not at all — it’s one of the most common situations we see. Your first visit is about planning the way forward, not going over the past.
